n 1997 to my surprise and to the surprise of the emergency department of NRGH I had a heart attack. My situation was further complicated by a fall. I was treated appropriately and moved to the Intensive Care Ward. Apparently I was given medication which caused much confusion in my actions and unaware to the nurses I got out of bed, fell, hit my head on a cement pillar causing hematoma on the brain. I was taken to Victoria General Hospital by helicopter and treated. After 3 trips back to Nanaimo Hospital for recovery I finally returned to Victoria to have a stent implicated in the artery of my heart. I explain the above history because while I was recuperating someone asked if I had considered Chelation. My response was, “I had never heard of it”. They gave me a book to read resulting in me telling my doctor I was going to do something he wouldn’t approve of. I told him I was going to do it because I had nothing to lose. His response was “go for it”. I have taken Chelation treatments every month for 10 years and have had no further heart problems and also have more energy. I recommend Chelation for anyone experiencing heart problems and also for piece of mind concerning care for their heart.

After my first heart attack I had a major decision to make, do I have open heart surgery, a very risky triple bypass, or do I try chelation as an alternative? This was not an easy decision to make when your doctor and other well meaning close friends are trying to persuade you otherwise, fearing that this risky treatment might worsen my condition and feeling that I would be taking my life into my own hands. As it stands today, five years later, I feel that I made the right decision with Dr. Cline and the chelation. I feel that my health has improved steadily over the years instead of declining. My eyesight has remained stable even though I have diabetes, and this surprised even my eye doctor. I know that I am capable of doing more physical work today than I could 5 years ago. I am firmly convinced that many of us who are at risk and detected early should chose the chelation as their first line of defense. Also the knowledge that you gain from Dr. Cline regarding proper eating habits, lifestyle changes and a healthy skepticism of the pharmaceutical industry is a wonderful side benefit not to mention his wonderful staff.
